Take It Easy

Take It Easy

As a runner there are three important times to take it easy.

  1. When you are injured.

  2. In the tapper period before a big race.

  3. In the days following a long hard race.

In all three instances, taking it easy, is giving your body a change to heal, repair and recover.

Most members of the Breakfast Club fall into the last category, recovering after a long race.

As like every week the planned route is five miles with options for less. This week many of us may take it easy with the ‘less.’

Below are the turn-by-turn directions, and the title of the route is a link to the Garmin data for the course.

Remember we start from Fleet Feet at 5:30am and after our run we head over to Bruegger’s for coffee and a bagel.

Come run with us…
