It is my hope that there is always a continual 'thread' of the gospel in our worship services. We want our services to be Christ-centered worship. As I looked over the words to the songs for tomorrow's service I noticed the 'thread.' Here is what I saw.
God I want to be close,
close to Your side
You are God alone,
the Great I AM.
how can I not sing praise to Your name,
sing Hallelujah
when I realize how great You are.
my heart is heavy with a look at who I am
Your love, Your grace
invite me to repent
when I do so
I know You.
now my chains of sin are broken.
You are faithful
You are strength
no beginning and no end
the Great I AM.
