When you are tempted, don’t you feel isolated? …you’re the only one this is happening to. …you’re the only one that is being tempted in that moment.

‘do we, do I, make intentional steps to enter our place for worship expecting something great and with great reverence for the Almighty God that I am about to encounter?

The church stage has changed through the years and it changes often.

If you had a wish list about the worship services you attend, what would be included? As someone who has led worship for over 30 years here are some of my wishes.

The ultimate act of worship is 'surrender.' No matter how much you engage in a worship experience it means nothing if you don't surrender everything.

There is always some job to be filled in the local church, some place that is begging for a missionary and some ministry that is being filled by the wrong people.

When planning a worship service I have a list of questions I always ask.

"The worship service today really helped me see God. I felt like I was in this deep conversation with Him and because of that I know Him better. I now know what I can do to make the relationship even better and want to do so.”

This place does as good of job if not better in making its guests feel welcomed.

Communion services demand a celebration of the whole story of God…the whole Gospel.
