ABOUT MICHAEL

From the conductor’s stand to the executive office.

Strategic operations leader and organizational advisor — driving performance through people-centered culture.

THE PHILOSOPHY

A rare blend

of creativity.

and discipline.

I believe conversations are the currency of leadership. My career is built on the pillars of self-awareness and self-regulation — helping leaders understand their unique gifting so they can show up intentionally for their teams.

Today I serve as Director of People at Fast Slow Motion, where I champion our leadership-development program and mentor emerging leaders. My path here was unconventional: trained as a musician with a Master's in Church Music, I spent more than two decades as a Worship Pastor.

I happen to be one of those "strange musicians" who is also highly organized. That blend of creativity and discipline let me lead large-scale building projects and cross-functional teams early on. The evolution from the conductor's stand to the executive office was fueled by a lifelong obsession with leadership — my bookshelf today is dominated by strategy, growth, and organizational health.

"Yesterday's growth is never enough for today's calling."

WHAT GUIDES THE WORK

Conversations are the currency

Trust is the result; conversation is the investment. I help leaders spend that currency on purpose instead of by accident.

Self-awareness,
then self-regulation

Knowing your gifting is a static asset. Adjusting to the person in front of you is what makes it dynamic — and effective.

Faithful in what
is next.

Yesterday's growth is never enough for today's calling. My aim is to turn “what's next” into “now.”

THE TOOLKIT

The right lenses to see your potential

I equip leaders with proven frameworks — then help them apply the data to real work, not leave it in a drawer.

THE FOUNDATION

Faithful where I’ve been placed.

At the core of my life is my 44-year marriage to Melissa. I'm a father of two and a proud grandfather of three. As a follower of Christ, I view my body and my roles as stewardships — which is why I stay intentionally active, running at least four days a week. You have to stay active to stay active.

When all is said and done, my goal is simple: to be found faithful to God where He has placed me, and to lead a life of integrity that turns "what's next" into "now."
