Tempo Thursday

Thursday is tempo run day, right?

I know when I am in the middle of a training cycle my tempo runs are on Thursday and my speed workouts are on Tuesday.

I know not everyone's plan works out this way, but it sure does seem there are many that do.

Tomorrow morning my plan says I need to run nine miles with four of them being at my projected race pace.  That plan will work well with the Breakfast Club Run.  I will start a little early, getting in 3 before the group arrives then on the 5-mile Breakfast Club route, I will run 4 at tempo.  Adding one more after the 5 will get me to my 9.

No matter your plan or your pace you are welcome to come join the Breakfast Club Run, tomorrow morning.  We meet at Fleet Feet in Jones Valley and the run starts at 5:30am sharp.

There will be runners of all paces and if you are not sure if there will be someone running at your pace, just bring along a friend.

Here is a map of tomorrow's course and the turn by turn directions. The route is 5 miles but it can be shortened to 3 or 4.
